Two Girls, 8 and 9 Years Old Inspire Kids With Their Business

By: Krystle Crossman

Saniya-Symone Scott and Kamryn Johnson are two very inspiring girls. At the young ages of 8 and 9 they started their own business that is made it empower children all over the globe. They are known as Kam and Niya. They empower others with positive thinking and the attitude that you can do anything that you put your mind to despite the naysayers.

Niya and Kam said that they started this business because they want other kids to realize that they can do anything that they want and can have dreams that are big. So many people are so quick to tell kids that their dreams are too big and that they can’t accomplish what it is that they want to accomplish. The girls want to make sure that kids know that they can dream as big as they want to and they can do anything that they want to if they put their mind to it and have the right attitude. They said that there is a lot of bullying that is happening out there and they want to try and let these bullies know that it is not okay to make people sad. They also want to let those who are being bullied know that they shouldn’t be listening to what others say and that they can be a role model for others.

Ebony Towns, Niya’s mother, says that Kam and Niya are working on showing how powerful social media can be. She said that a lot of cyberbullying happens and they are working on making it a more positive place. Kam’s mother, Kashla Johnson, stated that the girls are on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter spreading their positive messages. They use these social media mediums to showcase empowering people from the past and present. They also showcase youth entrepreneurs. Both mothers are excited about the initiative that their girls are taking and are more than willing to help them out whenever they need it.

The girls are currently working on publishing a book. They are also building themselves up by using Youtube and the social media outlets so that they have a larger following. They plan on holding workshops, empowering seminars, and speaking to others about how they can live out their dreams with the right attitude.
