A child educator in the U.S. state of Florida has been exposed by a national media source as a podcasting racist who lives a double life.
A Saturday (March 3) report published by the Huffington Post revealed that Tiana Dalichov, the host of a white nationalist podcast called “Unapologetic” is actually Dayanna Volitich, a 25-year-old social studies teacher at Florida’s Crystal River Middle School of the Citrus County public school district.
Volitich’s inflammatory podcast gives her a platform to showcase her support for white supremacy. On one recent episode, she even mentioned her profession and how much she enjoys being able to hijack the brains of young children and hold them hostage to her dogma about biased politics, white nationalism, and racial hatred.
“[White supremacists] don’t have to be vocal about their views, but get in there!” Volitich’s guest said. “Be more covert and just start taking over those places,” they continued.
“Right. I’m absolutely one of them,” Volitich said to her guest.
In its recent report, the Huffington Post also showed screenshots of various tweets made in the past by Volitich, which bash America’s education system and deny that racism exists in this nation.
“You know America’s education system is designed to enable victimization when teachers are forced to learn about institutionalized racism and prove it’s real when it isn’t. I literally feel my brain cells dying as I read this bullshit,” Volitich tweeted.
A spokesperson for the Citrus County, Florida public school district released a statement condemning Volitich’s alter-ego. The statement also says that the school district does not tolerate such behavior or belief system.
“She does not speak on behalf of the Citrus County School District. The views she’s listed [online] are really not in line with how our district operates,” said Scott Hebert, the executive director of educational services for the Citrus County School District.
Volitich and her poisonous mentality have no place in the classroom in the presence of any of our nation’s children. Black parents, in particular, need to be very much aware of the dangers of teachers who inject racism into the white classmates of their children.
